In 2NF Form there must not be any partial dependency of any column on primary key, Means that for a table that has concatenated primary key each column in the table that is not part of the primary key must depend upon the entire concatenated key for its existence. If any column depends only on one part of the concatenated key, then the table fails Second normal form. To achieve 2NF form, it would be helpful to split out the subjects into an independent table, and match them up using the student names as foreign keys. Before using the 2NF there all the requirements of the 1NF are to be ok from and Remove subsets of data that apply to multiple rows of a table and place them in separate tables. Create relationships between these new tables and their predecessors through the use of foreign keys. Remove columns which create duplicate data in a table and related a new table with Primary Key ,Foreign Key relationship.
